Hi, my name is Chaleenah. I know its looks hard to say. Just pretend that there is and S in the beginning instead of a C… There you go that’s it. Anyways Hi Nice to meet you, and Welcome to my new Blogg. I have been wanting to Blogg for several years but have been too intimidated to try it. I have finally decided what do I have to lose? So let me introduce myself and I’ll tell you a bit about me!

I’m a 36 year old wife, mom, step-mom, and dog-mom. MY husband and I have been married for 5 years but have been together for 11 years. I have two children a 17-year old Daughter(Hailey) and a 15 year old son(Brenton). I also have 3 step-kids 33(Gavin), 28(Morgan), and 22(Maya). We have one dog now. His name is Baxter(14years).

Me and my husband currently own 2 Batteries Plus stores in AZ. Now let me tell you, this was not what I saw myself doing for a career, however it has been a very educational and rewarding experience. I have been playing around with the idea of a separate blog for all the work things since it does indeed take up so much of my life and time. But I’ll let you know what I choose to do with that one. Currently I am running both of our stores myself as my husband is currently working outside of our stores. It’s a long story and if there are requests for the details I will share but I should move on into what I want for this blog and how it pertains to me and who I am.

I want this blog to be an outlet for myself to share all the things. I want to be there to help inspire others in all different aspects of life. I’m going to try and break it down .

– Books are among my favorite things! I am a big reader, I love most all genera’s to a point, however I will say romance is a favorite. I currently have over 600 books in my library physically, not counting my kindle and Audible and I would love to talk books with you guys!

-I am a big DIY’er and though I haven’t had much time to really get some projects in recently I am chomping at the bit to get into some. But I will share my past projects!

-Healthy eating and fitness are very important parts of my life and though I do struggle with some of it I will always be real about it. my struggles, my successes, and any recipes!

-I used to be a big baker and have lots of fun cute cakes I would love to share.

-Throwing a party for one event or anther is one of my favorites. I love seeing them all come together and will always do it on a budget and a lot of it will be DIY’d

-I’m a large crafter and have some cute and sometimes super easy ideas mostly for gifts or decore and have lots and lots of fun easy projects to share with you guys.

-I’m always striving to keep my house a home and no “aesthetically pleasing homes’ are not always a reality but if you want one and want to do it on a budget I will help with that the best I can. My house is not perfectly aesthetic however it is a work in progress and we can do it together.

-Now being a big DIY and crafter means I have a lot of crap. LOL so getting and staying organized and cleaned up can always be a challenge and I would love to share all my tips and tricks I’ve picked up over the years.

-Another large part of my life is my journey in my faith. Being a Catholic is a large part of who I am, and I am actually working on building a platform on educating the Facts of Catholicism and what I do to keep building my faith am doing to continue to grow closer to God.

-One thing I also love is clothing and dressing cute with accessories and jewelry, which is kinda a struggle with my job so I really enjoy making my boring work clothes cute and fun, and if you have to wear a uniform and have no real way to show your individuality, I hope I can help give you ideas on how to do so!

-I mentioned in the very beginning that I was a dog mom. Now Baxter is my baby and he is very spoiled! I will share all the fun stuff I get for him or do for him, he is really old and I feel like he deserves to be a bit spoiled!

-Another thing I love to talk about is hunting, We are a large hunting family and though I haven’t’ been drawn much this last year I will share all my tips and tricks and gear that I use to try and be successful in living off the resources the Lord left us, and looking cute and comfortable while doing it!

_In the first paragraph I mentioned that my Daughter is 17 and this is going on her last summer of highs school and her senior year, and I am struggling with it, so I have determined that I will do whatever I can to make it memorable for her, that will include some cute fun senior crafts and some fun trips!

-Traveling with my family is something I love to do but really don’t get to do very often! But when I do its going to be on a deal or a budge and it will include some serious planning as far as packing and to do lists for the trip! And I will share it all! Right now I have three things planned …Aug should be a trip to San Diego with my husband, Oct is a concert with my daughter, and Oct is also a trip to Rome with my Daughter, Aunt, Cousin, and Neice… so stay tuned for some amazing stuff!

That being said I am not saying that I am perfect in any way and I struggle just like everyone, and this blog will be my journey.

As you can see I have way too many interests and hobbies. Which is why I have struggled in the past to make this blog happen. But I can not be the only one. I know I’m not the only woman in the world who loves all these different things. So here’s to all of you! I hope I can bring us all a little closer together, maybe keep you motivated, help you reach some goals, maybe give you a few ideas, possibly recommend a book you fall in love with, possibly help someone who needs to feel the love of GOD to do so! I’m so excited to take this next step and I hope you come along for the Ride!
